Gurbaksh Singh Chahal, popularly called as G is an Indian American Internet Entrepreneur, who, by the age of 25, had already sold two of his companies for $340 million and become the talk of the town.

His early life:

He was born on July 17, 1982 to a Punjabi family that moved to San Jose, California when G was just four years old. They had gone to America through a green card lottery and they really struggled hard to make a living there. As kids, G and his siblings faced a lot of bullying.

As a Serial Entrepreneur:

In 1998, he started his first venture when he was just 16 years old. He dropped out of his school as he was never interested in gaining any theoretical knowledge and took this major step towards achieving his goals.

He started ClickAgents which was an advertising network. Its main focus was on performance-based advertising. In 2000 he sold it to ValueClick for $40 million. He also signed a non-compete pact with Value Click for three years.

In 2004 he formed BlueLithium. This company specialized in the behavioral targeting of banner advertising, where the online habits of the users were tracked to show them the advertisement related to their interests.

Blue Lithium became the Top Innovator by 2006 under the able leadership of Chahal. He then sold Blue Lithium to Yahoo in 2007 for a whopping sum of $300 million.

So by the time he was 25, he had made history in the world of Internet advertising and attracted attention worldwide.

His TV appearances:

Chahal became so famous that he got a chance of interacting with many interesting and famous personalities of the television industry.

One such interaction worth mentioning was his interview at The Oprah Winfrey Show. He was invited there to talk about his life and business journey. He was introduced as one of the youngest and also the wealthiest entrepreneurs on the planet Earth.

In 2009, he featured on Extra TV as America’s Most Eligible Bachelor

He also appeared in the Forbes Greatest Risk.

A generous philanthropist:

Gurbaksh Chahal has always believed in giving back to the society in,and speaks about its necessity for one’s peace of mind and inner happiness.And he does not believe in only lip service, but has also has taken solid steps in this regard and has helped the society at large.

He has his charitable foundation The Chahal Foundation which was initially started with the intention of creating awareness campaigns to stop hate crimes globally. But gradually, it has also taken several measures for various other issues like
