With the license number, you`ll be able to find out if the dentist has a valid license and if any disciplinary measures have ever been taken against him or her. You will need the number for your particular state`s board so you can call them up and ask for information about the dentist in question. Most people will find that it`s simply easier to pay the small fee and have the information immediately and conveniently. It`s just common sense to find out whether or not your dentist is a good one or has complaints against him before you arrange any dental work.
