Office Air Conditioning – What you should think about

Today getting air conditioning for the office has become much easier as there are plenty of companies who are willing to rent their systems out to businesses. Certainly you will find that these systems differ from the systems that will have been installed in permanently to a building. Often the units supplied are portable ones or if they do need installing in a property there are no complex installation procedures to done before they start getting used.
In fact hiring a system could end up saving your business quite a lot of money in the long run. Firstly, there won’t have to be any structural alterations carried out to your business premises. Secondly, there will be very little disruption to your businesses daily routine when the system is brought in.
You have the opportunity to try out the system if you hire it and so you can then tell if it is something that your business really does require. Although it could take several weeks before you actually see whether the system is working for you or not it isn’t money wasted. Plus at the end of the day if it isn’t what you need then you just return the system to the company from which you hired it.
It is important whether hiring or buying an air conditioning system for your office that you make sure you select the right one. The first thing you need to decide is of the three types of air conditioning for the office systems available which one it is you want and below we take a look at what they are.
1. Mono Air Conditioning Systems – Of the three we look at in this article this one is the easiest to have installed. All it requires is an external ventilation source (i.e. a window) through which the pipe at the back can be placed. As well as being easy to install (you can do it yourself) these units are relatively inexpensive to both hire and buy unlike the other systems mentioned.
2. Split Air Conditioning Systems – These systems are made up of two units one which is fitted on to the wall inside the room that needs cooling and the second part directly on the opposite side of the wall outside. These of all the systems we mention in this article are the most efficient, however they cost more to hire or buy. The reason being that installation of such a system needs to be carried out by a trained professional.
3. Evaporative Air Conditioning Systems – Where as the other two systems draw in air and then cool it using refrigeration equipment this system requires water. The water is held in a reservoir and then it is pumped over cooling pads which when the air drawn in from outside comes into contact with them cools it down. However, for this particular system to remain effective the reservoir levels should remain high so that the cooling pads are kept saturated when in use.
Above we have explained why it is worth considering hiring air conditioning for the office systems rather than purchasing one outright. But before you sign any contracts you need to determine what system would be best suited to the room in which you wish to have it placed.
If for example the office space is only small then the mono or evaporative systems would probably be the best option for you. However, if you have quite a large office space then going for the split air systems will probably prove more cost effective.
Now we have given you an idea of the types of
air conditioning
that is available to you, most of these can often be purchased online and are easy to install. Even easier to install are
portable air conditioning
units which can be moved around the office if needed.
